How to connect speakers to the monitor

The procedure for connecting speakers to the monitor

Connecting a monitor with speakers is practically no different from connecting a conventional device.

• First, let's check whether the port from the video card output is suitable for the input port.

Making a cable for connecting

We assemble the cable based on which jacks we have.

• EIf it has RCA input jacks, then we need two plugs of the appropriate type and a stereo plug from the headphones. We connect the same contacts of the plugs to each other. The main core of the RCA plug is connected to the main core of the plug from the headphones.
• If the connector on the device is the same as on the sound card, then you need to take two stereo from the headphones and connect the same contacts to each other.

Connection

• If there is a connector on the front or side panel, you can insert an earphone into it if you wish. Instead of headphones, you can connect other speakers to this jack. In this case, the volume can be controlled directly.
• You can connect speakers to the screen via the HDMI connector, if any. In this case, the connection, as a rule, does not cause any special difficulties. It is enough to connect the connectors to each other. After that, make the appropriate settings. A high-quality signal is transmitted via the HDMI interface.

Possible difficulties

As can be seen from all of the above, in principle, it is possible to connect the speakers to the monitor.

The easiest option is to connect with speakers or headphone jacks built into the monitor.

Otherwise, it is necessary to resort to various kinds of tricks. After all, the monitor, although similar to a TV, nevertheless has a more simplified device. And does not have its own sound.

To connect, it is advisable to choose more modern devices that have at least an HDMI connector. This greatly simplifies the task of connecting speakers. After all, such devices, as a rule, also have a headphone jack.
