How to combine linoleum and tile on the floor: combining two different floor coverings

Mark the junction boundaries.
Give the profile the desired shape.
Lay the tile along the joint line.
Items put at the same time. It is necessary to insert it into the existing groove.

How to work with glue

If you decide not to use any connecting elements, in this case, the seam marking must be done carefully and carefully. When working with straight joints, you should follow the rule: laying tiles should start from the seam, this will prevent the need for trimming it at the joint.

When performing complex patterns, there is no difference from which side the docking will be started, because in any case it will be necessary to cut the material. Perform the first thing markup, it would be better if there are no small elements on the edges.

Algorithm of your actions:

Glue the elements leaving the edge part.
Roll out the linoleum and lay it with a slight overlap on the tile.
On the previously prepared pattern mark the place of the joint and cut the linoleum.
The tile is laid on a dry base, marking is carried out relative to the contour of linoleum.
Install on glue.
When the glue is dry, process the joints with a sealant.
